The Garage Nightclub in Tampa, Florida is GSA’s most recent nightclub installation. This sound system is unique to GSA’s previous installs in that their new speakers, console and electronics premiered here. The system consists of a newly designed gsa Series; including Full Range, Sub Bass and Hi Output Tweeter Arrays.
Garage’s main room is 5538 square feet containing a 3198 square foot dance floor. Sixteen GSA active Full Range Line Arrays hang in pairs around the perimeter of the dance floor, which are balanced by four GSA V-8 Sub Bass speakers and 4 GSA Tweeter Arrays. The unique design of the speaker box combined with the tactical placement of coaxial drivers create a clean and well-defined sound that travels through the dance floor with maximum clarity and power.
The new GSA V-8 sub bass speakers contain eight 18” drivers that are strategically placed to push the deep bass sounds through the air, floor and bones of the people dancing within the boundaries of the dance floor; allowing people to actually feel the music.
The combination of the clarity of the “hi’s & mid’s” with the powerful throb of the sub bass creates an element of sound that can be enjoyed as long and loud as desired. Every tone is recognized by your ears and thus does not create the strain that normally occurs when trying to differentiate between tonalities. It was for this very reason that Garage owner, Gary Allen, chose GSA to design and build his new sound system; but not before flying to New York to hear the speakers for himself.
